ABOUT IAN
I am a filmmaker, artist and teacher who has always been interested in sport, movement and massage. I am qualified in traditional Swedish massage and Ka Huna bodywork and share these skills at my Bronte Beach studio.
I enjoy creating a space for you to relax and immerse yourself in the experience of your massage. It is in this process of giving and seeing clients leave rejuvenated and relaxed that I find the greatest reward.
MASSAGE + BODYWORK
Swedish Relaxation Massage / 1hr $100 / 90 mins $150
A gentle and soothing massage using the 3 levels of Swedish technique (Effleurage, Petrissage and Frictions) to relax and calm the body. Uses warm oil and is delivered with hand contact to parts of the body in sequence while you are modestly draped in warm towels.
Certificate 4 in Massage Therapy
Hawaiian Ka Huna Massage / 1hr $100 / 90 mins $150
Invigorating warm oil massage delivered in long sweeping strokes using the forearms over the whole body. The bodyworker moves around the table in flowing dance-like movements to stimulate the flow of energy and synchronise breath and heartbeat. This massage balances energy and flow throughout the body. Modestly draped using a sarong or towels.
Certificate 2 in Ka Huna Bodywork
Back Relax / 30 mins $50
If time and money are tight, why not try this back of the body massage that includes back, back of legs, shoulders and neck, using a combination of Swedish and Hawaiian techniques.
Mobile Massage (Eastern Suburbs and City only) / 1hr $150 / 90 mins $200
